Marlana Sheridan Bollinger, MD, is a family practice physician at Wellspring Family Medicine, a Christ-centered medical practice. Dr. Bollinger treats patients of all ages at Wellspring’s offices in Oakland and Accident, Maryland, serving residents of Garrett County and nearby areas of West Virginia.
Dr. Bollinger was born and raised in Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with a concentration in human biology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh. During college, she worked as a certified nursing assistant at Morehead Memorial Hospital’s emergency department and in a private home setting.
She attained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville. During her three-year residency with Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, Kansas, sponsored by the University of Kansas, Dr. Bollinger was chosen to serve as chief resident.
To keep up with the latest advancements and technologies, Dr. Bollinger retains active membership in both the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Bollinger fell in love with the medical field as a teenager and dedicated her life to serving others, embarking on a joyous journey toward family medicine. She counts it as an enormous blessing that the Lord would call her to the medical field, and she is excited to be a part of the Wellspring family.
